well maybe he didn’t really say me specifically, but he did say that he believes and the research proves that Chiropractic is a great option to treat Low Back pain and Gain Relief.!!!
Regarding Low Back Pain…about 80% of Americans will experience back pain at some point in their life. The connection to a physical source isn’t always clear, since some people show no spinal abnormalities on an X-ray yet suffer excruciating pain. Here are the treatment options:
Chiropractic Treatment was the first on the list in a recent article by Dr. Oz in the Oprah magazine. I quote:
“Even when the pain is in the lower back, the problem tends to be with the entire spine, says Dr. Nazarian, a Los Angeles based Chiropractor. Chiropractors employ manipulation – adjustments of the vertebrae – to help align a patient’s spine, and often prescribe regular visits. “People come in only when they’re in pain,” Nazarian says, “But we need to think of our spine the way we do our teeth, using prevention to stay healthy.”"
This was a great article and great information. As a Chiropractor in Costa Mesa working with low back patients for over 20 years I know that we can help people and get them relief.
Dr. Oz makes the following recommendation: The research is positive on Chiropractic Treatment and physical therapy (which we do at our office) and stress relief. They all help each back pain, says Dr. Oz.
The key is to get moving again as soon as possible after the pain hits, and then make sure you take steps to prevent a return. Dr. Oz sees low back pain as a warning sign about overall fitness. If you’re active, your hips and back are flexible, your core strength is good and you’re coping well with the emotional challenges in your life, you back will probably not bother you. Overlook one of these areas, however and your back will let you know. And while the emotional link to back pain is controversial, there’s no question that stress can play a part in the muscle tension, especially in the lower back and helps…leading to trouble.
If you are to take my advice I would suggest you think of your spine as a big part of your overall health. Just like you take care of the prevention of your teeth, you should address and concern yourself with your spinal health.
Find out if you have any misalignment that may eventually cause you problems. Find out before you have an episode of low back pain.
Chiropractic is gaining more and more power with research and the day to day testimonials of patients getting better without drugs and learning to take better care of their spine and body.
